Sorry, but the Learn to Tour Day is full. We had a fantastic response, but it also means many disappointed people. If you want to get first notification should another day be scheduled, join FOP at Friends of Pisa.

Hi All,
We are hosting a free Learn to Ski Tour Day. If you are new to ski touring and have questions, or you have never been to the Pisa and would like to learn where to go, this day is for you. We have volunteer "Experts" who we will pair up with groups of four "Beginners". Beginner ski tourers need to be intermediate or above skiers, this is not a day to learn to ski for the first time. We will hook you up by email with your expert before the touring day and they can answer any questions you might have. Splitboards welcome.
If you would like to sign up, let us know at friendsofpisa@gmail.com. If you have mates you would like to be in the same group with, let us know their name and email. There are limited places so get in quick. Don't forget to join at Friends of Pisa.
You will need to supply your own equipment. If you need to rent touring equipment, in Wanaka you can try Mt Outdoors, or in Queenstown, Small Planet. You will not need avalanche equipment for this day.
Members of the Treble Cone Ski Patrol have guaranteed us that there will be plenty of snow by July 22 so there is absolutely no need to be concerned on that front.
Cheers, FOP
